The tree mapping installation for the music festival “Orgatronica” organized by Mint Sound in Bologna was created using a detailed photogrammetry scan of the tree, allowing for precise 3D modeling. This model served as the foundation for a sound-reactive, real-time projection that seamlessly interacted with the tree’s natural structure.

The software Notch was used to combine the photogrammetry of the tree with particle systems, creating a seamless integration of 3D modeling and dynamic visual effects. This allowed for the creation of real-time, sound-reactive projections that interacted fluidly with the tree’s natural form, enhancing the immersive experience of the installation.
